Spring/Summer 2015 will see Puma rekindle their relationship with McQueen for a
second season merging Puma's performance expertise with McQueen's fashion heritage.Building on the debut collection this season embodies McQueen's
edgy, urban feel with both re-imagined classic Puma silhouettes and new ones,
created with sport as a major reference.
Mismatched colours and metallic textures adorn traditional Puma shoe designs; technical mesh meets premium leather and unexpected glow-in-the-dark
details.The colour palette is reminiscent of 1950s Formica colours, bright and
clashing with a fresh modern twist.
Updated performance inspired Run Mids lead the way with new nubuck
mounded cage features, highlighted with silver metallic foil and fluro orange
lasered leather; key for McQueen Spring/Summer 2015.Both the Rush Mid Low and Mid T are
re-imagined through Alexander McQueen's extensive archives, their iconic graphic
tyre print covers both styles and brings to life McQueen's sense of rebellion and
spontaneity.
Womenswear again sees Puma's historical archives tapped into including the return of the Leap Lo, an elegant combination of sportswear and fashion; adding a modern aspect with its technical outlook and forward design.Refreshed with open cage panels and neutral greys creating depth and shade.The Move Femme Lo a key silhouette of the range like menswear, uses exciting metallic foil elements inspired by the thermal blanket and rich Italian leather.The exciting union takes on a new lease of life this season exploring and showcasing both brands unique DNA, a true evolution for this historic partnership.
