Product Review: The Body Shop 'Leona Lewis White Musk Libertine' Perfume

I just got my hands on The Body Shop’s exclusive limited edition beauty collection by gorgeous songstress Leona Lewis, which is completely 100% vegetarian and 100% cruelty free.One of the products from the new collection is 'White Musk Libertine' perfume.

This review is for the Eau de Toilette version, a parfum version is also available.This sensual Eau de Toilette has a light, fresh scent that blends cruelty-free musks at it's top, heart and base, with sweet notes of Turkish delight, baby Orchid and Chantilly cream.Unlike the other White Musk scent offered by The Body Shop, which was never my favourite, this Libertine range stays on the skin for a moderate time before fading to a gentler combination of cream and musk.I am enjoying this range far more than I expected.The only downside is the bottle size.I just wish the bottles were a little bit bigger.However, I think this size makes it more reasonable to squeeze in my pochette.

OveralI, I love how light, airy and fresh it smells.I bought this yesterday, and I am really happy with my purchase.

Tried & Tested: NUXE Huile Prodigieuse (Multi-Purpose Dry Oil)

I have been using Huile Prodigieuse for about three weeks now, and it is so amazing.I have combination skin that is acne-prone, so I was kind of hesitant about the idea of putting oil directly onto my skin, but now that I have, I don't know how I ever lived without it! As a dry oil, Huile Prodigieuse is intended to be used on the face, hands, body and hair to add moisture.With it's unique concentration of six precious oils including (Sweet Almond, Hazelnut, Camelia, Borage, Macadamia, and St. John's Wort) and vitamin E, which offers a complete anti-ageing solution for the face, this easily absorbed multi-purpose dry oil will sink immediately into your skin delivering deep hydration, while your hair will be left with amazing softness and shine and thankfully a little goes a very long way.

It smells amazeballs and I love the fact that the oil goes on dry, leaving absolutely no greasy residue and that my dry flakes are gone overnight leaving my skin with a flawless base for makeup application.I also like to rub a little oil into my hair, mostly at the ends.I usually just use whatever is remaining on my palms after putting it on my face, it’s sufficient to smooth out any dryness and to weigh down my thick hair a bit so it doesn’t look fluffy.Another plus is that it is 98% natural.No wonder this is a best-seller among celebrities and sells on average every six seconds in the world, and rated number one in France.I can't say enough great things about this great product.It is definitely a must-try!

A White & Black Affair

With all the craziness of copycat abaya designs around, I started craving something different for a change.So when Rawan Azhar, the Saudi based designer behind Ta Marboota, unveiled the pictures of her latest lookbook, I was instantly attracted to her flawless, non-flashy monochrome collection, which is a continuation of a previous one she had initially started under the name of Pattern Mania.

Rawan, has successfully distinguished herself by combining fabric patterns and embellishments in fun and quirky ways, thus creating unique abayas that exude plenty of feminine flair.I love how the designs are timelessly elegant and chic, you could simply wear them to any occasion and be smugly content knowing you look fabulous.

What's Kayys ?
