VIVA,
the home-grown, biggest selling women's monthly glossy magazine across the GCC,
announced the winners of the 7th VIVA
Beauty Awards, during a dazzling event which was held on Thursday night at the
JW Marriott Marquis Dubai.The
beauty extravaganza celebrated eternal beauty icons who continue to fascinate
us and inspire the worlds of beauty and fashion and was hosted by the
glamorous TV presenter and savvy entrepreneur Zahirah Variawa, with hundreds of stylish guests in attendance,
all gathered to honour the best products across the entire beauty spectrum.
This
year there were 23 VIVA Beauty Awards
presented across the prestige and mass market and special categories, from Best Face Moisturiser and Best Foundation, to Best Hair Salon and Best Nail
Spa, along with Editor's Seal of
Approval and Editor's Choice Cult Classic.
In the prestige market, the night's
highest accolades went to Chanel, a winner in 3 categories: Best
Foundation, Best Perfume and Editor's Choice Cult Classic; and Kiehl's, winner of Best Body Product for the 2nd consecutive year.In the
mass category Max Factor scooped 2 awards: Best Foundation and Editor's Seal
of Approval.JetSet was awarded Best
Hair Salon and N.Bar Best Nail Salon.
