Exclusive: The 7th Annual VIVA Beauty Awards

VIVA, the home-grown, biggest selling women's monthly glossy magazine across the GCC, announced the winners of the 7th VIVA Beauty Awards, during a dazzling event which was held on Thursday night at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai.The beauty extravaganza celebrated eternal beauty icons who continue to fascinate us and inspire the worlds of beauty and fashion and was hosted by the glamorous TV presenter and savvy entrepreneur Zahirah Variawa, with hundreds of stylish guests in attendance, all gathered to honour the best products across the entire beauty spectrum.

This year there were 23 VIVA Beauty Awards presented across the prestige and mass market and special categories, from Best Face Moisturiser and Best Foundation, to Best Hair Salon and Best Nail Spa, along with Editor's Seal of Approval and Editor's Choice Cult Classic.

In the prestige market, the night's highest accolades went to Chanel, a winner in 3 categories:  Best Foundation, Best Perfume and Editor's Choice Cult Classic; and Kiehl's, winner of Best Body Product for the 2^nd consecutive year.In the mass category Max Factor scooped 2 awards: Best Foundation and Editor's Seal of Approval.JetSet was awarded Best Hair Salon and N.Bar Best Nail Salon.

Created in 2006, the VIVA Beauty Awards have played a key role in supporting the region's beauty industry, whilst the VIVA Beauty Awards badge has become a recognizable and sought-after token for high-end prestige brands, and mass and speciality brands alike.Earlier this year, VIVA celebrated its 10-year anniversary and debuted a new look in a handbag-friendly format, which makes the magazine the perfect accompaniment for the woman on the go, whilst it reaffirmed it's focus on readers with a new slogan, ‘All About You’.

Shout Out Of The Day: VIVA Magazine Announces New look For 2014

Celebrating ten years in the region, VIVA is one of the most successful UAE-grown fashion and beauty publications, tackling issues relevant to modern women in the Middle East.The magazine's new-look will be revealed with the March edition in conjunction with it's International Women's Day celebration event on March 6, 2014.
