With the dashing boutique, highly-charged ambience and hip hop music exciting the crowd, S*uce In The Hood launch party was a hit.Attendees from across Dubai city joined in the fun, posing for cameras at the photo booth and nibbling culinary creatives from Fait Maison Cuisine. The party presented a huge graffiti wall by Dubai-based graffiti artist Sya that read s*uce in the Hood in Arabic and a surprise guest appearance by Guinness Book of World Records holding dancer Christopher Lawrence.
So what’s s*uce in the Hood exactly? It's a brand new concept by s*uce, yet an extension of the playful, quirky multibrand retail concept, but the idea is that it is easily accessible – within your own “hood” or neighbourhood. The boutique stocks the coolest crop of cutting-edge international and regional designers that are, as always girly, but with a lot of edge. Some you may already know and love, others you may have never even heard of, but once you do you will wonder how you ever lived without them!
Filles a Papa, Mar Mar, TNTees by Tata Naka and Onepiece jumpsuits are but a few of the brands featured in the hood. The focus is on every day wear with a lot of extra s*uce added on.So that means: witty trucker hats, slogan tees and sweatshirts, deconstructed patchwork denim, vintage embellished t-shirts, cross stitch and blinged tongue-in-cheek customised clutches, sweatpants, platform jelly shoes and lots lots more. Many brands and collections at s*uce in the Hood will be exclusive and not available at any other s*uce location.
