Step
into your stilettos, slip on your most glamorous dresses, and pull out your
fabulous accessories for the most anticipated and stylish night of the year is
almost upon us, the Grazia Style Awards 2014.
Now
in their 8th year, the Grazia StyleAwards will see the region’s fashion elite come together on March 25, at the
MusicHall, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, to honour the achievements of the finest and the
most creative players in the industry, from stand-out brands to influential
bloggers, boundary-pushing designers and imaginatively curated boutiques,
across 17 categories.Since
their inception in 2007, the influential and prestigious Grazia Style Awards have dramatically raised awareness and
appreciation for the local fashion industry, acknowledging the most amazing
accomplishments and praising the many talented people who are propelling the
industry forward.
In
addition to regular categories, such as Best Designer and Most Stylish Reader,
this year the Awards looked at the rapidly maturing local shopping scene and the
developments in the industry further afield to introduce new categories for
Best Regional Online Retailer, Best Regional Accessories Designer and Fashion
Collaboration.There’s also a more comprehensive breakdown of the fashion brands.The Grazia Awards have put together a panel of
industry experts that includes Emily Johnston – founder of the hugely popular
style blog Fashion Foie Gras, alongside Elaine Lloyd Jones, editor of Grazia
Luxury, and up and coming designer Ashley Williams, who will help determine the
winners in the 17 categories, alongside Grazia
readers.The celebrity hosts and special guests at the Awards ceremony will be
announced shortly.
Voting
for the Grazia Style Awards 2014 is
open to public who can cast their vote for their favourites until March 23 through
www.graziastyleawards.com.All voters will automatically enter a prize draw,
held on March 18, to win a luxury getaway for two to London, including Virgin
Atlantic flights, hotel accommodation and a designer shopping spree from
Harrods.
