Out & About: Vogue Café Introduces Arabian Menu For Ramadan

In line with Level Shoe District's Arabian Pearl Heritage theme running throughout the holy month of Ramadan and in collaboration with Al Jalila Foundation, Vogue Café is featuring it's Pearls of Wisdom menu, a bespoke Arabian menu infused with the authentic flavours of the Middle East.

Indulge in the traditional spread of an Arabian home with Vogue Café's selection of Arabic mezze, which includes hummus, babaganoush, crisply calamari and stuffed green olives.For main courses the café offers delectable Homemade Kofta, succulent Lamb Cutlet and a seafood platter incorporating the finest grilled seafood from the pristine waters of the Arabian Gulf.Treat yourself to a fine array of desserts offered on the menu from the traditional Umm Ali to the more contemporary Honey & Yoghurt Mousse.

While dining, prepare to be mesmerized by the artistic talent of the Arabian peninsula as part of Level Shoe District will be converted into a ‘Majlis’, where talented Arabic musician Basel will be performing traditional Arabic music on electric oud.Adding to this atmosphere, weekly poetry reading sessions will be taking place every Tuesday from 9pm to 10pm at Vogue Café.

Works of several Arabic artists will also be on display throughout Level Shoe District, including renowned sand artist Shaima Al Mughairy from Oman who will perform in store exclusively on July 31st from 5 to 10pm, and the UAE's own Mattar Bin Lahej whose famous 3D steel calligraphies and sculptures that integrate circular shapes, brings to life the concept of the Pearls of Wisdom.

Designer Collaboration: Keith Haring X Reebok Classic S/S 14 Collection

The Keith Haring X Reebok Classic partnership and design collaboration continues with a new range for spring/summer 2014, featuring four much loved Reebok Classic silhouettes: Classic Leather Lux, Workout Mid Strap, Princess and NPC Lux.The exclusive partnership fuses art with fashion and reflects Reebok's commitment to culture whether music, fashion or art and the brand's devotion to celebrating the world's leading creative talent.

Each model in the Keith Haring X Reebok Classic collection features a custom Haring sock liner, full-grain leather upper with raised 3D print and Haring's signature on the heel.The collection features bold, bright color executions - orange, pink, green and yellow uppers are emblazoned with black artworks to create an impactful and visually arresting design.

Level Shoe District, the world’s finest shoe metropolis hosted an intimate event on Wednesday 20^th November, 2013 in honour of PierreHardy, the renowned shoes and accessories designer, who made his very first appearance.

At the event, Pierre Hardy interacted with the VIP fashion savvy crowd and exclusively signed a sketch drawing for the invitees.He also presented the Fall/Winter 2013 collection, and gave an exclusive preview to the Spring/Summer 2014 collection, giving the opportunity for customers to pre-order from the new collection.A very unique piece created especially for Level Shoe District, was also unveiled; made of suede and iridescent snakeskin is inspired by the slender arabesques of Alfons Mucha – figurehead of the Art Nouveau style.
