MV News: Versace Introduces The New L. Signature Bag

Versace announced a new member of the iconic Signature bag family – the L.Signature.The Signature bag is the essence of Versace, eternally defined by the Medusa, and now renewed with fresh details and materials for spring/summer 2015.

The leather of the L.Signature is laser-cut to create a graphic new lightness, lined with transparent PVC for full functionality.The bold and graphic statement from artistic director Donatella Versace reflects the themes of her Spring/Summer 2015 catwalk show, where the L.Signature made it's debut.

The L.Signature comes in classic black, as well as Versace's colours for Spring/Summer 2015 such as white, light blue and pink.It will be available in three different sizes – mini, small and large - and comes in both calf skin, and patent leather.

Shout Out Of The Day: Versace Opens A New Flagship Boutique In Hong Kong

Versace opens a new flagship in Hong Kong, which is the second store in Hong Kong in the concept conceived by Donatella Versace in collaboration with the English architect Jamie Fobert.

The boutique occupies an area of 732 square meters, the largest flagship in Asia, skillfully blending the opulence and traditional architectural values of Italy with the dynamism and energy of Versace today.Marble mosaics, brass and perspex create a luxurious and contemporary ambience in which to present the Versace pret-a-porter collections and accessories for men and women.

To celebrate the new opening of the largest flagship in Asia, Donatella Versace has designed a limited edition of the iconic Signature bag in two unique styles, with limited quantity to 60 pieces, exclusively available in the new flagship store.This special edition is the epitome of luxury and glamour with an artisan touch, embellished with metal mesh and in a quilted leather with gold studs.These details enhance the key motifs that have made the Signature such an icon.

This limited edition is available in black and white, in calfskin for the metal mesh version and in nappa leather for the quilted version.Each exclusive piece within the special edition will bear a detachable leather tag with 'Versace for Hong Kong Limited Edition' inscribed in gold.

Designer Collaboration: Versus Versace X Superga A/W 14 Collection

Versus Versace and Superga announce a new collaboration of collectible pieces that bring together two iconic Italian brands.The collaboration begins with a special edition of the historical Superga 2750 model, made using one of the key prints from the VersusVersace Fall/Winter 2014 collection.

The print symbolizes the rebellious new style of Versus Versace, with clashing vivid colours and cut-up images of the brand, such as baroque detailing, the Greek key and the Versus Versace logo.

The first Superga x Versus Versace model is made with a cotton upper and a sole of vulcanized natural rubber, with a fabric Superga label.The Versus Versace logo sits at the heel, which alongside the personalized box testifies to the uniqueness of the collaboration.

Versace presents the exclusive new F.Signature, a limited-edition style in the iconic Signature bag family.F is for the fringes that lavishly decorate this special edition of the Signature, adding a fresh and elaborate twist.

The top is trimmed in gold studs, and trimmed in hand-woven leather for a further artisan touch.These details enhance the key motifs of the Signature, such as the leather straps and gold Medusa heads.The F.Signature is crafted from soft nappa leather and suede fringe and comes in a variety of colours including the classic black or white, as well as vivid colours such as fuchsia and blue.

Playfully taking the initial of Versace's creative director, Donatella, the D.Signature is a compact update of the contemporary style.The bag is like the handwriting of  the house itself: glamorous, sensual, determined and strong.

The D.Signature comes both in classic black and vivid colours, such as ruby red, turquoise and petroleum.It's sleek design is decorated with frogging, either embellished or inlaid, as well as gold details such as the famous Versace Medusa head.The bag comes in a variety of skins, from leathers such as calf, suede and pony, to bleached python and polished croc.
